Class 4’s Mission Statement
In class 4, we will endeavor to have 100% attendance and to be at school on time to begin our learning. Whilst in school, we will treat everybody with kindness and respect and listen to what others have to say. It is important that will are resilient learners by showing a growth mind-set at all times. Mistakes in our learning are valued and demonstrate how we can learn from them to challenge ourselves so that we acquire new skills and knowledge at every opportunity. All members of class 4 will take pride in our classroom and take care of our equipment.
Hello everyone!!
My name is Mr. Walker and I am delighted to be joining the Oxspring family and become the teacher in charge of Class 4. I have had the pleasure of your children’s company for just one short afternoon so far before I become a fulltime member of the teaching team from Monday 30th November for the rest of this academic year. They impressed me with their enthusiastic welcome and desire to make a wonderful first impression. I can assure you that I will bring the stability and expertise that your children deserve in this period of uncertainty and change.
Let me introduce myself. Having occupied many positions of responsibility in different schools across Barnsley and nearby areas, I believe that I have developed the necessary skills and experience required to lead the learning in Class 4. My experience forms part of a 22-year career in primary education that has served to build an extensive understanding of the needs of the primary classroom. I have taught in all classes across the primary range but the vast majority of my experience has been developed and maintained in KS2.
I look forward to meeting you all and supporting your children to achieve everything that they possibly can for the rest of this school year.
Mr. SP Walker
